| Summary: | Francis Bailey makes a point to the audience at the old Bailey's General Store at the Sanibel Historical Village and Museum in June 1993. John, Francis, and Sam Bailey were born to Frank P. Bailey, also one of three sons--Frank, Harry and Ernest Bailey. The Baileys farmed on Sanibel, coming to the island in 1894, and established a packing company and general store in 1899. Francis returned to the island after school to take over running the Bailey's General Store from his father Frank. | |
