Date Issued:
1992-09
Summary:
During 1991 we began a study of survival and dispersal of snail kites (Rostrhamus sociabilis) throughout Florida. The intent of this study was to better estimate parameters associated with demography and movement of kites and to assess the environmental influences on these parameters. This report provides a summarization of progress and data for the first year of the study. In-depth analyses and conclusions are premature at this early stage of our research.
