Secondary issues involved creating databases from pertinent aspatial information, building an ArcView2 application, and designing and producing a series of USGS quad based maps displaying all of the ACP data shown on the original paper ACP maps.

Title: Oligohaline Areas in Tampa Bay Tributaries: Spatial Extent and Species Lists.

Abstract/Description: Three salinity zones were identified for each of the four major freshwater tributaries to Tampa Bay: the Hillsborough River, Alafia River, Little Manatee River, and Manatee River. Maps of salinity zones, including shoreline and aquatic vegetation, were prepared and submitted to the Tampa Bay National Estuary Program. In addition, lists were prepared of plant, benthic, and fish species collected by field studies within each salinity zone.

Title: Evaluation of the Tools Available to Assess the Potential Impacts of Unplanned Pollutant Releases to Tampa Bay.

Third, a mechanistic model was used to examine the potential effects of the unplanned release.
