Letter from President Andrew Jackson to William Donelson on the management of his farm. Jackson describes, in detail, the deaths of several of the people enslaved by him, including a woman named Aneca and a man named Jame, who died due to a beating at the hands of Jackson’s employee by the name of Mr. Hotzclaw. Jackson also alludes to multiple other, unfortunately unnamed, enslaved people that were also killed by people in Jackson’s employ.

Brooks Thomas with his wagon.

This photo, possibly taken in Florida, shows a little boy standing next to a "Speeder" wagon. The caption on the back states "Ruth's little boy Brooks Thomas." According to the Rahn and McCready membership lists, Ruth Boomer married a Philadelphia architect named Walter Thomas and had one son. Note the tower behind the boy. This could possibly be the Sanibel Lighthouse (?).

Claude Rahn, appearing as a middle aged man standing in front of foliage. It is unclear where the photo was taken, although on the back is a stamp that says, "Parker and Battersby, 146 West 42nd Street, New York City." Perhaps the photo was taken when Claude lived in New Jersey.

David Richards.

Abstract/Description

David Richards, is referred to as "Richardson" in the McCready list. Had a brother named Alex. David was a chiropractor. David Richards did a lot of writing on the Flaming Sword, including the "Community Information" column. According to the Rahn list, (listed as Richards), he was born in Wales, on April 21, 1897 and he died October 31, 1937.

From left to right: Alfred Christiansen, Lloyd Graham, Walter Bartsch, Laurie Bubbett, Layard Campbell, Claude Rahn, Robert Graham, and possibly Stewart Bosanquet (seated). This photo is one of a group of photos that were all taken at the same time (based on the location and clothing). All the photos feature a group of "second generation" Koreshans. Identification is based on the caption located in the "Koreshan Story" by Sara Rea.

Front row is (from left to right) Dudley Andrews and Claude Rahn. Note the squeeze bulb that Dudley Andrews is using to take the photo. This photo may have been taken in Philadelphia since this is the area where Dudley and Annie Ray ended up and Ruth Boomer Thomas apparently hosted some of these Koreshans.
