| Summary: | This study supplements a 1951-1952 U.S. Geological Survey investigation of the ground-water resources of the Naples area. It was directed mainly at obtaining data to determine changes in the amount of ground-water in storage and to monitor the movement of salt water in the area. Additional information was obtained on the physical character of the aquifer and the chemical quality of the water during construction of a new well field in the northeastern part of Naples. This supplementary report was prepared chiefly from data obtained through the city's efforts to establish a permanent well field. | |
