This report assesses reported stormwater runoff quality throughout Florida for differing land uses, including residential, commercial, light industrial, roadway, and mixed urban. It compares the results to studies conducted across the United States. The report evaluates the data reported in the literature concerning the treatment efficiencies associated with various stormwater management systems. The authors conclude that stormwater runoff is highly variable among different land use areas, and that stormwater treatment systems should be chosen on a site-specific basis.
