This report contains the results of a comprehensive survey involving the chemical analysis of 1,921 samples of Florida's surface and subsurface waters. The samples were gathered in a statewide sampling program carried out in 1948, 1949, and 1950. Of these samples, 1,666 were obtained from municipally, industrially and privately owned wells; 116 were from springs; 90 from lakes; and 49 from rivers.
