In May 1981, the National Marine Fisheries Service, Southeast Fisheries Center, Beuafort Laboratory initiated a study with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Coastal Engineering Research Center on the transplanting of seagrasses. This report summarizes site evaluation procedures, transplanting methodology, and cost evaluation, as well as preliminary sediment stabilization data resulting from this research.
