A view of the Nutt family homestead, shortly after it was moved a few hundred feet on the property and restored. The house, called The Gables was built by the Nutt family in 1889 when Mrs. Letizia Nutt, her three daughters, mother-in-law, and brother, came to Sanibel to homestead.
