Abstract:
This report describes the conditions of the resources and effects of Hurricane Andrew on the resources of three national park system units in South Florida - Big Cypress National Preserve, Biscayne National Park, Everglades National Park. It also recommends specific actions for the immediate and long-term protection o threatened resources and subsequent collection of data that will help the National Park Service to better understand the effects of human and natural disturbances on those parks' resources.
