| Abstract: | The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of modifying the existing water control system within the Fahka Union Basin of Golden Gate Estates, Collier County, Florida. Such a modification would be for the purpose of providing these multi-purpose objectives specified within the study authorization--flood control, water supply, recreation, and environmental restoration. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers was assisted in the study by the active participation of Federal, State, and local agencies, various interest groups, and individuals. | |
