This workshop was designed to define success criteria for restoration, and milestones along the road to restoration. The goal was to define more explicitly the criteria by which we can judge the success of efforts to achieve restoration. The experts assembled were tasked with defining criteria for recognizing success at restoration of the Everglades system and to devise criteria for measuring progress toward successful restoration, and for recognizing setbacks in the restoration efforts while they can still be corrected.
