David Richards, is referred to as "Richardson" in the McCready list. Had a brother named Alex. David was a chiropractor. David Richards did a lot of writing on the Flaming Sword, including the "Community Information" column. According to the Rahn list, (listed as Richards), he was born in Wales, on April 21, 1897 and he died October 31, 1937.

The log house, identified in Herbert/Reeves as the "Men's Log House". Herbert/Reeves also speak of this being the first settlement constructed dormitory for men and that Teed lived in the southeast corner of the first floor until the construction of the founder's home in 1896. The photograph shows a man identified as David Richards sitting on the porch of the breezeway. Note the thatched roof. Caption on the back reads "Log House & David." Below: "Dec 1923."
