A group of Koreshans take a photo together. In the back row (from left to right: Laurie Bubbett, Imogene Bubbett, and Annie Ray Andews. Front row is (from left to right) Dudley Andrews and Claude Rahn. Note the squeeze bulb that Dudley Andrews is using to take the photo. This photo may have been taken in Philadelphia since this is the area where Dudley and Annie Ray ended up and Ruth Boomer Thomas apparently hosted some of these Koreshans.

James Calderwood posed for photo. Born in Scotland, he arrived to Estero in March 1907, according to Claude Rahn's membership list. According to the McCready list he was "a singer with a good voice who taught music for awhile."

Band, April 12, 1907," and lists the individuals as: (front row) Jay Morgan, Allen Andrews, DeCoursey Clinchy, Lloyd Graham, Harry Boomer (leader), James Newcomb, Walter Bartsch, Wilton Hoyt, Elmer Douglas. Back row: Claude Rahn, Richard Jenlseh (sp?), Robert Graham, Alfred Christensen.

Sanitorium and allied buildings along the Estero River.

Abstract/Description

Shows the sanitorium from the opposite bank of the Estero River. Other buildings can be seen and a group of six unidentified people are standing in front of the building. It is rumored that the wood from the sanitorium was later used in the construction of the Boomer house. Reports state that the steps leading to the dock can still be viewed.
