A steamer, either the Gladys or the Dixie, is pulled up to the dock in 1914 at Captiva, later called Andy's Dock. Rails for baggage carts are visible on the dock, and the buildings provided storage. Three women and one man stand beneath Spanish moss. The photo was made into a postal card, but having been cut down to size (in the original scrapbook), most of the message has been cut off, however, it appears that it was addressed to Imogene Bubbett (see "gene") and mentioned "Sister Evelyn".
